Flash Chess 3 is a great way to play online chess without downloading any software. It has very nice visual look and a few options including game saving and move undo. Flash Chess III has 3 different levels of difficulty: Novice, Casual and Advanced. But, even on Advanced Level it does not play very strongly. I estimate its level to be about 1300 ELO.
